Appointment reminders and results the easy way

We offer a free texting service. If you would like to use this service, please ensure that our reception staff have your up-to-date mobile number.

Ask a doctor a question

If you just have a question or two, but don’t need to come in for an appointment, our doctors offer telephone consultations. If you would like to arrange to speak to a doctor or nurse over the telephone, call us between 8am–12pm and our reception staff will take your details and ensure that a doctor or nurse calls you back when they are available.

We’ll come to you if you’re housebound

We offer home visits for housebound or very ill or elderly patients only. Non-urgent home visits can be arranged with your doctor with a few days’ notice. Urgent visits will be done as quickly as possible, but your preferred doctor may not be available. Please call at 8am if you wish to speak to a doctor regarding a home visit appointment. If you call after 6.30pm your home visit will be undertaken by the local out-of-hours service.

No longer need your appointment?

Patients can help us to ensure we can offer more appointments by cancelling your appointment with the doctors’ surgery, this appointment can then be offered to another patient making more appointments available right now, over 100 pre-arranged appointments are being missed by our patients every month As you can imagine, this is having a big impact on our ability to see patients who really need our help.

Please let us know if you no longer need your appointment. This will enable us to re-allocate the time to someone who needs it.

Please note that if you fail to turn up to three or more pre-arranged appointments you may be taken off our doctors’ surgery list.
